The staff at Hendy Van Store Fareham were good because my salesman Guy was very pleasant to deal with and responsive when he was at work. The only criticism I would have as a business is communication. If Guy was not available nobody else was. The remote telephone receptionist could not say if he was working that day / or tel me who was. Could you have a sales email or WhatsApp to get a response.

I would not recommend Hendy Van Store Fareham because handover of vehicle was terrible wasn’t interested at all..oil change warning light illuminated on dashboard when collected and dent in drivers door which I wasn’t shown when collected as salesman only slid keys across the the desk and said “that’s you all done” didn’t even bother to get out of his chair let alone show me to vehicle and walk around it with me.
He Didn’t know how to connect the vehicle to Ford Pass Pro as he’d only been there a week, in short he was useless.Trying to get hold of anyone in branch is almost impossible by phone as nobody hardly ever answers.If you’re looking for good customer service I’d try anywhere apart from Hendy Ford Fareham.
My experience at Hendy Van Store Fareham could have been better because the vehicle had damage and only 1 working key. Sales no longer answer the phone and complaint procedures are only automated emails.
When I originally walked into the dealership Declan offered a very personable and unpressured environment to inform me of my decision. He understood my customer requirements very early on and helped me explore the options available to me in terms of vehicles. The extended test drive was very informative and determinative in terms of choosing the right vehicle.
Declan then passed me onto Shane who arranged a specific vehicle and his approach was highly personable and professional. He struck the right balance between being informative but also very practical with dealing with the sale of the vehicle. At no point was he pushy or seeking to upsell and I felt he very much had our interests as a customer at heart. Throughout all stages he was informative and kept us up to date with the preparation and readiness of the vehicle.
I am now 36 years of age and purchased a Ford Fiesta from Hendy when I first passed my driving test. My family have also recently and historically purchased vehicles from this Hendy dealership. Although we've always dealt with different people at the dealership (owing to the passage of time), the Hendy values and manner in which the staff undertake their work have been consistent throughout.
My parents have always sung the praises of the Hendy Team and I can only echo this in the most positive of terms.
